What’s Up MotoSurf Nation!
I had the pleasure of interviewing MotoSurf racer Eli Charousova this week via Zoom. Eli, 22, proudly hails from the Czech Republic and is one of the many young racers committed to growing the sport.
Eli Charousova started motorized surfing in 2017, when she instantly fell in love with the sport! Since the very first turns, Eli knew she wanted to become a racer. In 2018 on Christmas Eve, her dream came true when Eli’s father bought her very first JetSurf Race DFI board. In the summer of 2019, Eli started racing competitively.
Two years later at the 2021 MotoSurf World Championship Finals, she earned the title of Vice Champion of Europe! Eli often say that she has racer blood in her veins because of her father, who was a car racer back in his younger days and took Eli to all his races when she was a little girl. Eli was raised by speed, sounds of revving engines and adrenaline, and that is apparent in our conversation.

I’d like to thank Eli for her time, and I wish her luck as her racing season continues! Be sure to follow Eli (@Eli_charousova74) and El Charro Racing School (@elcharro_racingschool) on Instagram and Facebook.Â
