“The world’s first powered foam core stand up paddleboard with a built in electric jet drive”. The SUPjet is an electrically powered watercraft. When you want an extra boost or just want to sit back and relax, you push a button and the built in drive will move you along at 5 mph (8 km/h) for 1.5 hours.
THE ROOTS
The SUPjet stand up paddleboard and electric jet drive was designed and developed by Procom Engineering in Aliso Viejo, California. After a windy day of paddleboarding back in 2014, the SUPjet concept was hatched.
Procom Engineering was founded in 1999 and has been known for developing and supplying a wide array of high quality products manufactured in its own facilities.
CONCEPT
This emission-free built in electric motor is directly mounted in a pocket on the bottom of the board, so there is virtually no drag when not in use. A guard panel covers the pocket so that there is no risk of propeller strikes. The detachable battery pack fits into a hatch on the top of the board, and when you want to recharge the pack you simply unlatch it from the board and charge it using the included charger.

CONSTRUCTION FEATURES
The board itself is constructed from high quality EPS foam and epoxy resin, and comes with an ankle leash and back fin. The power button also doubles as an ankle strap anchor with a uniquely designed magnetic shut off switch that stops the drive system should you fall off.
GOOD TO KNOW
The drive system is fully integrated into the board during construction, and is non-removeable which mean that SUPjet in not a distinct unit that could be added to your board.

SHIPMENT
Due to the size of the board, the SUP is usually shipped by freight and due to battery shipping regulations, the battery pack should be shipped separately.
